DDGMs, DEOs, WMs, and Brothers All:

Please ensure widest dissemination of the attached flyer and below information within your Districts and Lodges:
Who:  Lodges of the 56th Masonic District

What:  Program on Crime Prevention for Masonic Lodges
When:  6:00 pm – 8:30 pm, Wednesday, October 6th (Dinner at 6:00 pm | Program at 6:30 pm)
Where:  Bayside Lodge No. 218, 1465 Independence Blvd, Virginia Beach, VA  23455
Why:  To increase awareness of potential vulnerabilities, teach crime prevention methods, and provide training to help minimize the opportunity for crime.  Through this program, Lodges will gain enhanced awareness of their safety and security strengths and weaknesses, education on what to do in the event of a crime at their Lodge, and a better sense of community by understanding the safety issues affecting not only their Lodge but the neighborhood that surrounds them.
This event is open to not only Lodges of the 56th District but the 35th and 36th Districts, as well!  Lodges from the 14th and 12th Districts are also welcome to participate should they choose to make the sojourn over/under the Chesapeake Bay to Southside Hampton Roads and join us.
This event is graciously hosted by Bayside Lodge No. 218 and co-sponsored by the Lodges of the 56th District.
